Lake Fork Fishing Report
Submitted: 11-15-11FOR THE FISH OF A LIFETIME FISH FORK! I DO!!"

This will be my last report as I am retiring from the fishing guide business.

This week on Lake Fork the water temp is in the 60's and the lake is about 7 1/2 feet low. The lake is struggling to recover from turn over as this Indian summer continues. Once the weather cools off I believe the lake will cut loose into winter pattern. Right now fall pattern is Texas rigged plastics on structure and fluke type baits around timber. Crankbaits are on and off. The fish are trying to move to the back of the creeks. Top water action is off and on. Drop shot can be effective as the shad are small threadfin.
Caution is advised as you move around the lake as underwater obstructions are everywhere! where your pfd!
I would like to thank all of my customers over the years for making my career a success along with all my great sponsors and the marinas that have put up with me. I can now fish with my dear wife that has been neglected as my schedule has always been hectic. She has paid the price as she loves to fish and I have been covered up with trips when the bite is on. Thanks for putting up with all of this my dear! I will see y'all on the lake as I enjoy fun fishing for the first time in many years. Watch out fish!
Thanks for all the great memories and I wouldn't have had it any other way!!!----Jeff
