Jeff Gunn's Lake Fork Fishing Report |
||
Submitted: 11-15-11![]() This will be my last report as I am retiring from the fishing guide business. This week on Lake Fork the water
temp is in the 60's and the lake is about 7 1/2 feet low. The lake is
struggling to recover from turn over as this Indian summer continues. Once
the weather cools off I believe the lake will cut loose into winter pattern.
Right now fall pattern is Texas rigged plastics on structure and fluke type
baits around timber. Crankbaits are on and off. The fish are trying to move
to the back of the creeks. Top water action is off and on. Drop shot can be
effective as the shad are small threadfin. |
