Lake Fork:
The Fall fishing started off very good here at Lake Fork but over the past few days, the East Texas area has seen more than it's share of rain and the weather forecast for the next few days isn't much better. We were starting to catch some fish on Spinner Baits and Tail Spinner type baits in shallow water around the grass and pads but that has slowed down some as the lake is up at least a foot and is still coming up. The gates have been open most of the time as of late but the lake is still rising from all of the run off. Most of the Crappie that were biting have also slowed down due to unstable conditions. We need the water, but we have had enough. I wish this was a week that we could give a good report but this is a tough week.

Mexico:
Just about everything in Mexico that I have checked on looks good for the Fall and Spring fishing. No bad news to report. The lakes have received much needed rain as always for this time of year and the camps at El Salto and Comedero are set to open soon. For info as to how you can get to and fish one of these lake call us at 214 236 3320. Now is a good time as air and hotel rates are very good.

Until Next Time,
Good Luck and Good Fishing !
